Hyeon-gyu Oh on his way to the Premier League?

The South Korean striker Hyeon-gyu Oh (24) is attracting interest from Fulham FC. According to Sky Sports, the London club has held positive talks with KRC Genk regarding a potential transfer this winter. Oh, who joined from Celtic in 2024, has been flourishing in Belgium and is drawing attention with his performances in the Premier League.

This season, Oh has already scored 6 goals (and provided 3 assists) in 19 matches in the Jupiler Pro League, along with additional goals in the Europa League – totaling 10 goals from 21 starts across all competitions. The physically strong central striker (1.87 m) combines classic number-9 qualities with high pressing and explosiveness, making him an ideal fit for a team like Fulham, which is looking to add more firepower to its attack.

Genk is reportedly open to a sale, with a market value of around €7 million according to Transfermarkt. Rumors are circulating about a bid of up to £28 million, though that figure appears optimistic.

Beşiktaş had previously shown interest, but Fulham now seems to be the most concrete option. A move would make Oh the 16th Korean player in Premier League history.
